Unsubscribed recipient still receiving emails

We receive bounce mails from recipients that have explicitly unsubscribed! This is of course a breach of law and absolutely not acceptable. See attached screenshot; this just came in from that same “unsubscribed” address:

Background: We sent the newsletter to two lists: “freunde von tv noir” and “wordpress users”. Note that this address is not even part of the wordpress users db.

Could you reach us with our contact form here (https://www.jackmail.com/contact) and give us the email in question. We’ll check in our platform.

It may be 2 things in my opinion.
Either the tag is a bug and the user is not really unsubscribed but displayed as it was (you should export the contact list where the contact is, and look at the BLACKLIST column to see if you see an “unsubscribe” mention in it) either it’s a bug regarding filtering.

But with so little element I can’t tell. Let’s go step by step.

Oh and, I think there’s no need for all theses words like “scary” “breach of law” and “not acceptable”. We should just work on a solution here, and be cool to each other :wink:
